Not all changes are significant enough to make the headlines, but some adjustments still have the potential to lower your site’s rankings and cause other issues.

Google further emphasized that this update would “help ensure that low-quality, unoriginal material doesn’t rank prominently in Search.”

There are a lot of technical errors that can cause traffic drops. A perfect example is the issue of redirects.

Redirects that weren’t set up correctly or broken outbound links can hurt your website rankings. Ensure your links are working correctly and you have a 404 page set up.

This is why you must test everything on your website very often. Do not leave any stone unturned because ignorance is not an excuse. You could have an issue on your website that you have not noticed, but your visitors will always see them.
