I studied Systems Engineering with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence. Believe me, AI cannot take over Digital Marketing- and become independent! You lose nothing by learning Digital Marketing in 2024 Learning digital marketing in 2024 will open up a world of opportunities for you. With the digital landscape constantly evolving, having digital marketing skills can give you a competitive edge in various industries. Will Automation Take Over Digital Marketing? As I mentioned earlier, AI automation cannot replace marketers anytime soon. Some aspects of digital marketing are already automated, such as programmatic advertising, email marketing automation, chatbots, and AI-powered analytics. These automations have streamlined many marketing processes and improved efficiency. However, certain aspects of digital marketing, such as creative content creation, specific strategy development, and understanding consumer behavior, may still require human intervention and expertise that is difficult to totally automate. Human creativity, emotional intelligence, and strategic thinking are key elements in marketing that may not be easily replaced by automation. Digital Marketers who can effectively use AI as leverage will replace marketers who can’t/won’t. It can be an annoying career choice if you just want to do nothing and get paid. It will be an awesome career choice for you, if you want to constantly evolve and learn. PERSONAL FULFILMENT & CAREER ADVANTAGES OF DIGITAL MARKETING! From a capitalist stance, you can’t have sales and profit without proper marketing. And we live in a Capitalist society. Personally, Digital Marketing has always been mentally stimulating for me — and I suspect that it will remain that way for long. I love the challenge of figuring out how to market a particular product/service, and if results are coming through, how to pivot the strategy. Digital Marketing is more than just “posting”. There’s so much creativity and logic involved, so many platforms, many skill sets, that it’s impossible to feel like there’s nothing to do. There’s always so much learning and upskilling. Summary If you want to get into any field, just start. If you are not sure, you will see a thousand and one reasons why you should be discouraged.
